Luke grew up in Greater London, his whole family in the film industry. He started acting professionally at a young age; among other successes he played the third lead in the British film Fever Pitch. Shortly before this, at age twelve, he got his first A-Level in computer science.
Luke is an ideas factory, constantly spouting potential new ventures, revenue streams, business models, and everything else.
His reputation for innovation and creativity in business made Luke the ideal target for Bristol University when looking to push forward their enterprise agenda. Having turned Bristol into a student enterprise powerhouse, he now spends a few days a month with students, mentoring, inspiring and guiding them through their first entrepreneurial steps.
Ben has been involved with the web for as long as he can remember. He has a range of experience in web development and graphic design, and a rich portfolio of personal work. In addition to Bristol Developers Ben also runs a small web hosting company, Network EQ, providing web and email hosting solutions to small and medium companies.
Now a Computer Scientist at the University of Bristol his academic interests include information security, computer graphics and networking. Ben’s professional interests lie in project management, standards compliance and Web 2.0 applications. He is also involved in Bristol University Business Angels (BUBA), a network of individuals promoting entrepreneurship within the student environment.
